This is a map showing the location and address of all the Volkswagen dealership in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. Along with these locations I put in all major counties surrounding Washington D.C. and major interstates. Since the addresses took up a good amount of space I decided not to label other cities or towns. This map was made to maybe be put in a auto section for a local newspaper. So the people who would be using the map would be already familiar with our area.

My lab 8 map of total Housing Units in Maryland.
Tried to use gradient gray scale color for the different counties. I like the effect it gives to the map.

A very colorful gradient map of the United States. Each of the data values have specific color, but smoothing has been applied for a nicer look. Only problem is a missing key showing the data values and a title explaining what it is about. I do love the use of colors and smoothing.

A very well done dot map portraying where nonmetro poor people live in the United States. Very dense cluster located on the eastern part of the U.S.

This is a map of Thailand which has many different labels of various size , font , and colors. Each used for specific reasons. This site offers various different maps. These maps are used to show weather, temperature, and climate changes. If you enjoy weather and maps this is a great site.

This site is similar to Google maps, map quest, ect. It is a very useful, and fun to mess around with.

This is a great map from American Airways. This map shows all destination in the northeastern part of the U.S. This map also uses a very helpful key.
